PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely predict the fall of a vehicle. SOLUTION: The predicting device is provided with an X accelerometer 12 for detecting acceleration in the forward and backward directions of the vehicle, Y accelerometer 13 for detecting the acceleration in the horizontal direction of the vehicle, first and second measurement parts 14 and 15, speed input means 32, advance direction input means 34, and alert judgment output part 33. Using the X and Y accelerometers, the first measurement part 14 calculates attitude and oblique angles where a high-frequency component is eliminated, and the second measurement part 15 calculates the attitude and oblique angles which have response property according to the oblique angle and speed. Using the angles and advance direction, the alert judgment output part 33 has a function for judging the risk of falling, especially the function for precisely predicting the fall during turning on a slope.
