The bandage consists of an elongated strip (1) which goes round the heel (11) , over the lateral side of the ankle-joint (6), over the back (8) of the foot (10) to the medial plantar region and over the sole of the foot to the lateral plantar region. The first and second transverse edge of the strip are fixed to the strip itself. A first tie (5) starts from the lateral side of the fore-foot over the back of the foot to the medial side of the ankle joint and circularly round the ankle-joint. A second tie (7) starts from the lateral side on the ankle joint circularly round the ankle joint.
