The invention concerns a chute (50) for forced immersion of an article comprising a tubular body (52) defining a passage for circulating articles and at least a fluid intake (58) for producing a current driving the article. The passage defined by the body is globally tubular. The chute comprise means (58, 50) for producing in said passage a helical liquid stream flowing at the periphery of said passage. The invention is useful for filling a container with fruits.
