<p>The training device has a crank with pedals or similar on its crank arms for connection to the feet or arms of the trainee, an electric motor connected to the crank, power electronics which drive the motor and an arrangement for regulating and/or controlling the crank's revolution rate. The control arrangement is designed to produce a revolution rate change delta n as a function of a torque MK on the crank where delta n = f(MK). A new revolution rate nnew is defined by nnew = nold + delta n, and the function delta n = f(MK) is different for previously defined ranges of the value of the torque MK.</p> |
