PROCESS AND COMPOSITION FOR PROVIDING SHINE TO A HARD SURFACE

The invention provides a process for providing shine to a hard surface involving treating the surface with an aqueous solution of a starch derivative. Preferably the solution contains 0.05-2.0 g/l of the starch derivative. The process is especially suitable for floors.The invention also concerns hard surface cleaning compositions comprising 0.01-99% of one or more detergent surfactants and 0.05-60% of a water soluble starch derivative.
