The method involves applying a high direct voltage with a low current to an electrically conducting coating (1) or electrical conductor with layers of synthetic material (2) on both sides to insulate the electrical conductor that are also used as adhesive surfaces for materials of various forms and thicknesses (3-5) that can be influenced electrostatically. Independent claims are also included for the following: an arrangement for attachment of information media to surfaces for demonstration and information purposes using electrostatic forces.
