The sliding element is movably mounted on a strut arranged radially relative to the door element. The system has at least one protective element (2) that separates the working area (1) from the surroundings when closed and a drive (3) for moving the protective element. The protective element is a curved door element (2a) and the drive is formed by a pneumatically and/or hydraulically operated rotary cylinder (4), a crank (5) and a sliding element (6). The cylinder interacts with the sliding element via the crank and the sliding element is movably mounted on a strut (7) arranged radially with respect to the door element.
