METHOD AND COMPOSITIONS FOR INHIBITING ARTERIOSCLEROSIS

A method and compositions for achieving a potentiated effect of inhibiting arteriosclerosis by more efficiently restoring a decrease in the antioxidative function of plasma LDL caused by hyperlipemia or the use of a cholesterol-lowering agent or enhancing the function. Namely, a method for inhibiting arteriosclerosis by using a combination of a cholesterol-lowering agent with reduced coenzyme Q10 represented by the formula (1), and compositions for inhibiting arteriosclerosis containing a cholesterol-lowering agent together with the above reduced coenzyme Q10.
