The suspension system consists of a pylon lying parallel to the axis of the engine (10) and fixed to the aircraft's structure, a first flexible coupling between the pylon and the rear of the engine, and a second flexible coupling between the front of the engine and an arch (80) fixed to the pylon. The arch is equipped with a torsion bar (180) which is able to pivot freely and has its ends connected to the sides of the engine via levers (140,150) and arms (120,130). The torsion bar is designed to take up the reaction moment along the engine's lengthwise axis from the propeller's reduction gear unit.
