The present invention relates to a plastic cap (1) with a gasket, the cap comprising a skirt (2), a top (3), a connecting region (4) between the skirt and the top, a security ring (5), and a gasket (6) fixed to the top by fusion of the contact surfaces between the top and the gasket, characterized in that the gasket extends on the top of the cap internally and radially to an extent such as to leave a portion (12) of the connecting region (4) exposed.
