The device has a wave generator (2) formed by a multiple eccentric device or several planetary gears acting on a flexible spline (5) with an inner gear rim interacting with outer gear teeth on the wave generator, an outer rim interacting with a circular spline (9) in the form of a hollow wheel with inner teeth and a driven hub part (11).
