The suction water flushing for a toilet comprises a membrane piston (7) producing a suction effect in the siphon and guided in the cylinder (4) by a connecting rod. The suction movement is controlled by a manual valve via the pressure water conduit. In this way, an accelerated flushing is achieved with a reduced water usage. The membrane piston also has a safety function as a check valve in the event of an outflow pipe overflow.
