The sealing strips (21) bridge over the vertical joint of hollow wall sections and involve braces extending to both sides against the inner surfaces of the wall components of the hollow wall section. In the sealing strips are integrated reinforcement bars (26) which penetrate the joint and cross the braces (22,23). The bars extend beyond both ends of the sealing strips. The reinforcement bars form an entity (28) with the sealing strips. The component parts of the sealing strips, viz. the strips themselves, the braces and the reinforcement bars are all of metal and are welded together.
