<p>The invention relates to a transceiver that can be used in adverse environments, such as under underwater. A transceiver comprises a PTT switch for transmitting a speech signal when pressed, a voice input/output device, and a main part for transmitting and receiving a wireless signal. The main part and the components are constituted as separate units. Means is provided for allowing communications between the main part and the individual components.</p> |
