A writing implement comprising an ink storing chamber (2) formed within the writing implement main body (1), a pen body (5) disposed at the front end of the writing implement main body (1), reservoir chamber (10) formed between the ink storing chamber (2) and the pen body (5) and communicating with the atmosphere and also with the pen body (5), a plurality of partition walls (14, 14a) separating the reservoir chamber (10) and the ink storing chamber (2) from each other and axially dividing the ink storing chamber (2) into a plurality of small chambers, and ink feeder (16) extending through these partition walls and feeding ink from the ink storing chamber (2) to the pen body (5). And, each partition wall (14, 14a) is formed with a communication hole (15) capable of holding ink by capillary attraction, these communication holes being sealed by ink films.
