A tolerance display system enabling a machining worker to readily recognize correct dimension information at the actual machining site. The tolerance display system includes a tolerance display (10), which comprises storage means where standard data file about general tolerances is stored, information input means (12-22, 26, 28, ...) for inputting predetermined information, operating means for reading standard data on general tolerances from storage means by the inputted data inputted by the information inputting means and calculating a limit of size dimension, and outputting means (24) for displaying standard data, limits of size, and so forth. The information inputting means has an industry type menu input section (12) for selecting/inputting the name of an article to be machined in a desired type of industry, specified condition inputting sections (16, 18, 20) for inputting specified conditions such as a special item, a tolerance class, and a basic size, and a value/four-operation operator inputting section (22) for inputting a value or a four-operation operator.
