The invention relates to fire-protection techniques and is used for supplying a fire extinguishing agent to a fireplace. The inventive extinguisher comprises a hollow body, a reservoir containing the extinguishing agent and fitted with a feeding orifice linked to the inside of the body, a guiding tube and a device for rotating an extractor. The extractor of the extinguisher is provided with blades fixed to a peripheral part around a rotation axis thereof. The blades are oriented in a tangential direction. Said invention increases the service reliability and a distance of action.
