The compression ring device has a compressible element (1) receiving at least one insert (2) with a central bore for a supply line and sandwiched between a pair of opposing compression plates (3,4). Each of the inserts is provided by a tube section and is fitted into a reception bore (10) in the compressible element having a similar diameter to the outer diameter of the insert, with spaced retaining noses for preventing removal of the fitted insert.
