<p>The present invention relates to a gear casing, intended particularly for driving an excavator bucker wheel. Input is formed by a pair of driving pinions (3, 3?) that can be coupled with torque sources. Each driving pinion (3, 3?) is kinematically coupled with an intermediate gearing (5, 5?) provided with a pair of pinion gears (4, 4?). Pinions of the pinion gears (4, 4?) engage with an output wheel (2). A first parting plane (A) of the gear casing (1) passes through the pair of the driving pinions (3, 3?) and through one of the driven pinions (4a, 4a?) of each pair of the pinion gears (4, 4?). A second parting plane (B) passes through the other of the driven pinions (4b, 4b?) of each pair of the pinion gears (4, 4?) and the output wheel (2). Said first parting plane (A) is parallel to said second parting plane (B). The intermediate gearings are located in the central section (1b) of the casing (1) defined by the parting planes (A and B).</p> |
