PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilized powdery or granular fodder and a method for sterilizing the same completely sterilizing poisonous fungus such as salmonella or the like without damaging thermally unstable useful components such as vitamins and enzymes. SOLUTION: This sterilized powdery or granular fodder is obtained by spraying a heating steam to the powdery or granular fodder under a condition not damaging its useful components and then drying by spraying air irradiated with ozone. The method for sterilizing the powdery or granular fodder without damaging its useful components by spraying the heating steam to the powdery or granular fodder and then drying by air irradiated with ozone.
