PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a glass ceramic sintered compact with lightening and precise dimension for large and/or complex shaped body. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the sintered compact comprises that a forming compact is formed by adding water into a composition consisting of 40-99% glass powder and 1-60% mineral powder whose fusing point is higher than that of glass powder, and sintered by 800-1050 deg.C. A part of or all of the mineral powder is non-clay mineral grain with mean grain diameter of <=10 μm, and is made to be contained in the composition by 1-30%. |
