PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent method for thermally transpiring a specified compound to kill insects, in which a stable insecticidal effect can be maintained, even when the specified compound is thermally transpired at a lower temperature than conventional temperatures. SOLUTION: This method for thermally transpiring the specified compound to kill inspects, characterized by thermally transpiring a pyrethroid compound represented by formula (1) (X and Y are each independently H, a halogen methyl, trifluoromethyl or methoxycabonyl; Z is H, F, methyl, methoxymethyl, ethoxymethyl or propargyl) as an insecticidal ingredient at 50 to 150 deg.C. The method especially comprises loading the compound on a heat-releasing plate, using an aqueous insecticide solution by a liquid mosquito incense manner, or bringing the compound carried with a fibrous carrier on a so-called disposable body warmer as a heat generator to thermally transpire the insecticidal ingredient to kill the inspects.
