RECORDING PAPER FOLDING MEANS FOR PAPER STACKER AND PAPER STACKER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper stacker easy for the replacement of a loading member of a recording paper folding means and to provide a recording paper folding means for the paper stacker. SOLUTION: This recording paper folding means has: a rotary motion transmitting member mounted to a driving shaft turned by a motor; a rotating shaft driven by the rotary motion transmitting member with one end axially separably meshed with the rotary motion transmitting member; a paddle plate mounted vertically to the shaft and having a tip part pressing down the continuous recording paper in accordance with the rotary motion of the shaft; and a fixing member mounted to a frame of the paper stacker and rotatably engaged with the other end of the shaft. The fixing member stops the axial movement of the shaft to prevent the separation of the rotary motion transmitting member from the shaft, so that the shaft can easily be dismounted by dismounting the fixing member.
