PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frit composition for enamel having excellent acid resistance, alkali resistance and cohesion with a substrate, and to provide an enamel ware obtained by coating the composition onto the substrate having high brightness, high gloss and excellent bending processability. SOLUTION: This frit composition for enamel comprises SiO2, TiO2, Na2O, Li2O, K2O, B2O3 and Al2O3, wherein a mass ratio of SiO2/B2O3 is 1.5 to 5, and the content of halogens is minimized. This enamel ware is made by glazing the composition onto a steel plate or the like.
