PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a less-expanded slag from a steel-making process in which an extent of hydration reaction is higher than in the hydration of free CaO. in a conventional aging treatment and aging time is decreased. SOLUTION: A chelating agent is added to the slag before or during aging treatment of it.
