PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation panel device for rapidly setting a numeric value being displayed at a display part to a desired one and for reducing a numeric value-setting operation time. SOLUTION: When OFF continuation time tx from the OFF to the ON of an operation key is less than a specific value ta [I], acceleration/deceleration speed-switching timing is increased as compared with a case when the OFF continuation time is equal to or more than the specific value ta [II]. More specifically, by operation the operation key again until the specific value ta passes, the numeric value can be continuously switched from a low speed without waiting for standby time t1, thus rapidly setting a desired numeric value.
