PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a curl of a curled paper sheet to be reliably straightened. SOLUTION: A curl paper sheet straightening device 50 comprises an endless belt 57 running around a plurality of guide rollers 55 and 56; and at least one curl straightening roller 58 to press the endless belt in a direction in which the circulation region of the endless belt is narrowed. The bus of a drive guide roller 55, on which a rotational drive force is exerted, of a plurality of guide rollers is formed in a straight manner. The curl of the curled paper sheet is straightened as the curled paper sheet is conveyed by the endless belt and the curl-straightening roller.
