PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refuse container capable of maintaining an excellent deodorization effect for a long period. SOLUTION: An ozone lamp 5 is disposed at the inside of a container main body 2 capable of storing refuse, the ozone lamp 5 is turned on by an external power source 12 and ozone generated from the ozone lamp 5 decomposes and deodorizes organic compound such as carbon monoxide and sulfur dioxide gas generated from garbage and bacteria propagating in refuse are killed by sterilizing power that ozone has.
