PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ink jet printing method and device, which are capable of coping with digital image data and printing respective different images on a printing medium highly distinctly and inexpensively with a high speed. SOLUTION: In the printing method wherein a printed matter is produced by an ink jet method, discharging oily ink based on the signal of an image data utilizing a static electric field, the image is formed at first on the surface of an image carrier by the ink jet method and, next, the image formed on the image carrier is transferred onto the printing medium by contact. |
