PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent abnormality of lamp lighting, erroneous operation, erroneous detection or sticking of dust by preventing electrification to display drums in a rotary drum type variable display device of a game machine such as a Pachinko machine and a slot machine. SOLUTION: This rotary drum type variable display device for respectively and separately arranging the plural cylindrical display drums 13a, 13b and 13c rotatably driven by motors 11a, 11b and 11c in a frame body 2 so as to be stoppable and displaying plural kinds of patterns on an outer peripheral surface of the display drums, is provided with a self-discharge type static eliminator and a voltage impressing type static eliminator having an electrode 25 opposed to an inner peripheral surface of the display drums.
