PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a shape failure such as corner fold or breakage of a carried sheet and perform a processing such as the extraction of this sheet or the like. SOLUTION: This sheet carrying line comprises a sheet carrying means 1; an X-ray generating means 2 set downward above the sheet carrying means 1, a lead-made shielding plate 3 set just under the X-ray generating means 2; a plurality of, for example, three X-ray detecting means 4 set toward the X-ray generating means 2 under the sheet carrying means 1; and an arithmetic control means 5 for classifying the X-ray intensity detected by each X-ray detecting means 4 by level, comparing the mutual X-ray intensity levels, outputting the absence of abnormality when all the X-ray intensity levels are equal, and outputting the presence of abnormality when any one of the X-ray intensity levels at all is differed from the other X-ray levels.
