PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental floss that removes physically food residue or dental plaque when cleaning by inserting the floss between teeth as well as suppressing attachment of dental plaque on neighbor tooth face and exhibiting excellent preventing effects against decay. SOLUTION: Dextranase enzyme is deposited on the floss and impregnated. Also, in addition to dexranase enzyme, fluorides are deposited and impregnated. Dextranase enzyme and fluorides are liberated from the floss by abrasion with neighboring teeth surface between teeth while cleaning teeth to be deposited on dental plaque or dental face to suppress dental plaque or decay.
