PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning utensil wherein motions such wiping and squeezing, squeezing and wiping do not need to be repeated many times when a large amount of water is wiped off, and of which the water-absorbency is much more excellent as compared with a cleaning rag or the like. SOLUTION: One surface of a water-absorbent layer which is formed of a material having a high water-absorbency is covered with a water-permeable layer, and the other surface is covered with a waterproof layer to constitute this cleaning utensil.
