PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible heat sensitive recording body, with which a developed color image is formed on a white ground by a small sized device, which is excellent in high contrast and the preservability and can vanish the image in a very short time. SOLUTION: In the heat sensitive recording layer of the reversible heat sensitive recording body, at least one kind of aromatic compound represented by general formula (I) is included as a developer together with a dye precursor and, in addition, a specified thermally fusible compound is included as a decoloring accelerator, in the formula (I), R1 represents a lower alkyl group, an unsubstituted aromatic ring group and an aromatic ring group substituted by at least one member selected from the group consisting of a lower alkyl group, a halogen atom and a lower alkoxy group, R2 represents a single bonded or a 1-11C bivalent hydrocarbon group, R3 represents a 11-30C straight-chain aliphatic group and X1 and X2 represent independently a single bonded member or a member selected from the group of the bivalent groups. |
