PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concentrated cleansing preparation excellent in suds ability when diluted by a factor of 3 to 8 and >=100 mPa.s in the viscosity of the diluted solution, suppressed in the squeaky feeling of the hair when rinsed therewith, having high solution stability at room temperature, and unnecessary to use sodium chloride for the production thereof. SOLUTION: This cleansing preparation, a cleanser composition, is characterized by containing an anionic surfactant, an amphoteric surfactant and a polymeric thickening agent and being 100-500 mPa.s in the viscosity at 25 deg.C of the liquid resulted from its dilution with water by a factor of 3 to 8.
