PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly control noise in a car inside space according to a change in a cutoff situation of the car inside space and a car outside space. SOLUTION: This noise controller 10 is provided with a control signal generating circuit 34 for generating a control signal C having the almost same amplitude but the opposite phase of a noise component N on the basis of a reference signal R extracted from the noise of an engine 18 and an error signal E obtained by an error signal detector 28 according to a difference between the noise component N propagated to the car inside space and the control signal C and a state detector 35 for detecting the change in the insulated state of the car inside space and the car outside space. When the state detector 35 detects the change in an insulated state of the car inside space and the car outside space, a compensator 36 selects a characteristic parameter according to the change in the insulated state, and renews the content of the control signal C each time via a renewer 38 on the basis of the error signal E and a compensating signal F outputted from the compensator 36.
