PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic olefin elastomer which is excellent in rubber elasticity, especially low-temperature rubber elasticity, and can give an automotive sealing part excellent in sealing properties, especially low- temperature sealing properties. SOLUTION: This elastomer has a gel content of 80% or higher and gives a molded item having a tensile strength of 3.0 MPa or higher, an elongation at break of 250% or higher, and a compression set (-30 deg.C, 24 h) of 65% or lower. Preferably, the elastomer is thermoplastic elastomer composition which is obtained by dynamically thermally treating a mixture containing (A) an ethylene/α-olefin/nonconjugated polyene terpolymer having a molar ratio of ethylene to a 3-20C α-olefin of (55/45)-(70/30) and (B) an olefin resin in a specified ratio in the presence of a crosslinker. The automotive sealing part is prepared from the elastomer. |
