PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for carrying metal members having a stacking structure which can store a plurality of metal members, stack them in the vertical direction, lighten the burden to save labors in the positioning work when engaging upper and lower containers with each other, facilitate the carry-in and carry-out of the metal members to be stored, and improve the working efficiency without any problem on safety. SOLUTION: In this container, a corner fitting 8 having an engagement hole is fitted to an upper portion of a column 3 at a corner, a lower end face of the column is located above a lower side of a bottom beam, a fixing pin 9 is protruded from a center thereof, and two downwardly-inclined guide surfaces 2t with the angle of inclination of 20-45 deg. which guide an inner upper edge of the corner fitting at the upper portion of the column of a lower container 1a in a lower area below the lower end face of the column so that the hole in the corner fitting is positioned to be engaged with the fixing pin 9 of an upper container 1b. |
