PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating process which can reduce deviations in temperature from a heating temperature target inside the roughly rolled sheet when heating the roughly rolling sheet before performing a finish rolling. SOLUTION: There is provided the heat controlling process for the roughly rolled sheet using at least either a time lay of the response of the heating device or the passing time of the roughly rolled sheet in the heating device based on the estimated or measured temperature value after the rough rolling, by the heating device arranged between the rough rolling machine and the finish rolling machine.
