PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bipost type concentric-shaft multistage lift for achieving synchronization with compact devices. SOLUTION: A pair of concentric-shaft multistage lifts 10 each having an outer ram 11 and an inner ram 12 independently vertically movable are erected in parallel, and first plates 21 and second plates 22 are fixed to the upper ends of the outer rams 11 and to the upper ends of the inner rams 13, respectively. The second plates 22 are located above the first plates 21 at all times. Outer ram racks 31 are hung down from integral portions of both outer rams 11 and pinions 41, 41 to be meshed to both outer ram racks 31, 31 are fixed to a common shaft 42. Inner ram racks 32 are hung down from integral portions of both inner rams 12 and pinions 44, 44 to be meshed to both inner ram racks 32, 32 are fixed to a shaft 43 concentric, with the shaft 42.
