PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and convenient method for thermal transpiring to kill insects, which is adopted on outdoor works free from an electric source, such as a camping or garden works, in more detail, in which a heat generator can give two different temperature or durable time according to a setting mode and in which an insecticidal ingredient can be transpired using heat generated by a chemical reaction. SOLUTION: This method for thermal transpiring to kill insects, characterized by sealing a heat generating composition in the presence of air in a flat bag formed from two front and back porous sheets having a moisture permeability difference of >=400 g/cm2.day therebetween, and then bringing the heat generator bag into contact with a material impregnated with an insecticidal ingredient. Further preferably, the surface brought into contact with the material impregnated with the insecticidal ingredient is arbitrarily selected, and the other surface is set to the bottom surface or side surface of a gas permeable container. Thereby, the thermal transpiration temperature and its duration can easily be set.
