PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for welding a projection bolt making use of an existing welding apparatus or a robot device with as simple as possible remodeling. SOLUTION: A movable electrode 10 and a fixed electrode 11 are respectively mounted to supporting arms 8, 9 of a stationary type welding machine 5, and a hole 13 for receiving the shaft portion 2 is formed on either one out of both electrodes. And a projection bolt supplying apparatus 14 is mounted to the supporting arm 9, a projection bolt stops at the position where the shaft portion 2 becomes coaxial with the receiving hole 13, a after that, the shaft portion 2 is inserted into the receiving hole 13. Then, a work 37 is transferred between both electrodes by the robot device 33, welding for the projection bolt and the work 37 is completed.
