PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quick-changeable and reinforced, nozzle for continuous casting used in a slide nozzle unit arranged in a bottom portion of a vessel such as a ladle or a tundish. SOLUTION: The nozzle unit is provided with, (a) a nozzle comprising a flange portion made from a refectory having a through hole receiving molten metal flowing out from an upper portion of the aforementioned nozzle, and a tube body made from a refractory having a through hole leading to the aforementioned through hole, (b) a metal protection body comprising a metal case portion peripherally covering the aforementioned flange portion, a metal skirt portion peripherally covering an upper portion of the tube body leading to the aforementioned flange portion, and a metal reinforcement portion, in which connection of the aforementioned metal case portion and the aforementioned metal skirt portion is strengthened, arranged parallel to the direction of putting-on and taking-off of the nozzle in a nozzle changing unit.
