PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative material which has high resistance to scratch and wear resistance with the use of an inorganic anti-abrasion agent and realizes a three-dimensional design representation and further, does not scrape the surface of an article with which the decorative material comes into contact. SOLUTION: An anti-abrasion resin layer 3 containing an inorganic anti- abrasion agent 4, a resin absorptive pattern 5 and a topcoat resin layer 6 are sequentially formed on a base material 1. In addition, the entirety or a part of the topcoat resin layer 6 on the resin absorptive pattern 5 is absorbed by the resin absorptive pattern 5, and thus the decorative material with a matte part or a recessed part is obtained.
