PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deceleration control device for a vehicle capable of adding appropriate deceleration when reversing. SOLUTION: In performing control for adding deceleration according to accelerator operation, the deceleration different from that in advancing is imparted when reversing. In imparting the deceleration when reversing, (1) the deceleration smaller than that in advancing is imparted, and (2) the deceleration increased at the time change rate smaller than that of deceleration in advancing is imparted.
