FIRE EXTINGUISHING FOAM HEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a foam type fire extinguishing equipment by imparting fire sensing function to a fire extinguishing foam head itself and lengthtening an ejecting distance of foamed foam by a fire extinguishing agent aqueous solution. SOLUTION: This fire extinguishing foam head is composed of a head body composed of a hollow fire extinguishing agent aqueous solution introducing part installed in a supply pipe of the forcibly sending fire extinguishing agent aqueous solution and a circular horizontal part extending in the radial direction from the introducing part tip, a bowl-like deflector installed on the horizontal part edge of the head body and a valve element brought into pressure contact with the fire extinguishing agent aqueous solution introducing part outlet side opening part by interposing a low melting point alloy between the valve element and the deflector. Plural suction parts are formed in the peripheral direction in the vicinity connecting the fire extinguishing agent aqueous solution introducing part with the circular horizontal part. Slender slits continuing in the vertical direction over a bottom surface from a side surface upper part are formed in large numbers at peripheral directional uniform intervals in the deflector. Thus, strength of the deflector part increases so that the fire extinguishing foam head can be constituted in a closed shape similarly to a conventional water enclosed type sprinkler head while being a foam head.
