PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning material made of cardboard capable of being rapidly assembled from a state of low bulk. SOLUTION: Edge panels 6 are connected to the respective peripheral edge sides of a square bottom panel 5 and erected from the bottom panel 5 to be mutually joined in an outwardly inclined state to form each of trays 1-4. These trays 1-4 are joined and, at the time of transport or keeping, they are arranged flatly and, when used, the adjacent trays 1-4 are bent to abut the edge panels 6 thereof to each other.
