PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that as sizes of perforations formed on a master by means of a thermal head are constant in spite of different permeability of ink on every kind of printing paper, on printed articles such as sheets of stencil high quality paper on which ink easily blots, as growing of a printed image is generated, quality of the image is deteriorated and on printed articles such as sheets of coated paper on which ink hardly blots, as broken letters and blurred letters are generated, quality of the image is deteriorated and it is impossible to obtain the printed image with an appropriate blots of ink and with the optimum area of the image. SOLUTION: A paper kind setting key 1 for setting the kind of the printing paper and a microcomputer 2 as a perforation energy adjusting means for adjusting an energy for perforation fed to an individual heat generating part of the thermal head 91 to a specified energy in accordance with the kind of the printing paper set by means of the paper kind setting key 1 are provided.
