PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer recording medium, excellent in transferring property onto a low-smoothness paper and capable of obtaining a highly precise printed image reduced in scumming. SOLUTION: The heat transfer recording medium is constituted of a thermofusible ink layer, provided on one side of a substrate and consisting of at least a colorant, wax and a thermoplastic resin. The glass transition temperature (Tg) and the lowest film making temperature (MFT) of the thermoplastic resin are characterized by the relation of Tg<MFT. |
