摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface coated-cermet cutting tool with a hard coating layer having superior abrasion resistance. SOLUTION: This surface coated-cermet cutting tool is manufactured by forming a hard coating layer of an average layer thickness of 1-15μm, formed by single or plural layers of two-phase structural layer manufactured by vapor- depositing and packing pores of a porous aluminum oxide deposition layer where all of pores are substantially penetrated in the thickness direction, with composite nitride or composite carbonitride of Ti and Al, on a surface of a tool base composed of tungsten carbide hard metal or titanium carbonitride cermet.
